About Me

God can turn your mess into your message!

Hi – I’m Kate Jones!

I am living proof that God can turn our mess into our message. My teenage and young adult years were marred with bad choices, alcoholism, and a distinct lack of God’s influence in my life.

In the spring of 2011, I made one decision that changed the trajectory of my life forever: I decided to run a marathon in honor of my high school cross country coach who was dying of cancer. The process of training, discipline, and grit changed me to the core.

By 2012 I was hooked on all things fitness and I began to transform my body, which in turn began the slow process of internal transformation. I competed in bodybuilding shows, and in 2015 began competitive powerlifting.

I began formal personal training in August of 2014. I worked at a local YMCA training clients before and after my regular 8-5 job and took on online clients as well. In May of 2015, I quit my job and dove headfirst into the fitness industry. By November of 2015 I was training full time and in February of 2016 I took over an all-women’s bootcamp program and grew it to nearly 100 participants.

It has been my passion since Day 1 to show each woman I come in contact with how strong, capable, and loved she is. I have a strong affinity for strength training and group classes, but also enjoy the intimacy of personal training sessions and being the best part of my client’s day.

In May of 2020, I rededicated my life to Christ and have been on a mission to share the Good News ever since. I left my gym of 5 years to strike out on my own and created Foundations Fitness to bring together these two pillars of my life. I opened my brick & mortar gym on June 30 of 2022 and am absolutely in love with the environment and community I am creating!

With Jesus, all things are possible.
